    This course covers the skills and knowledge required to enter and work in confined spaces in the Resources, Mining and Construction Industries.
     

    This unit is appropriate for those working in operational roles undertaking work in confined spaces. It is appropriate for workers that need to safely enter manholes and other similarly confined spaces.
     

    Throughout the duration of the course, participants will learn the correct operating procedures for working in confined spaces as well as how to prepare and complete compliance documentation and risk management procedures.

  • Prerequisites

    There are no formal entry requirements for this unit. However, all students will need to meet Language, Literacy & Numeracy and also Physical fitness requirements.
